About Amicus
We are a family run home with friendly staff and an atmosphere to match. We are a Kent County Council registered contractor and preferred provider. Amicus is ideally situated in a residential area of Strood near all local amenities.
Our philosophy is to offer comprehensive, friendly care while maintaining self respect and dignity. Residents are not moving from their homes to an institution - we work hard to ensure that residents feel as though they are moving into a new home.
Amicus has undergone many changes since Brenda and David took over, all of which have improved the service we can offer our residents. The upstairs of the house has been re-modeled, offering beautifully appointed bedrooms with beautiful views of either the River Medway and Rochester City, or our Garden and downstairs we have added two large bedrooms and redesigned one.
Within Amicus we provide an atmosphere of friendly, comprehensive care for low dependency elderly people. The tranquility found within our garden extends to within the house itself helping to achieve our goals. Of utmost importance to us is providing Residents with quality of life, interest and an environment where dignity is maintained and self respect is at all times encouraged.
