The home

The bedrooms

All our bedrooms are tastefully decorated to a high standard with all modern amenities. We try very hard to provide some individual character to each room, so residents feel at home. The large majority of the rooms are en-suite and all other rooms are near to a fully fitted bathroom. Residents are welcome to bring their own furniture to make their rooms their own. This is with the permission of the Manager for safety purposes. All of our current residents decorate their rooms with their own photos, trinkets and memories - these always provide a source of conversation!

The Lounge

In our lounge residents can enjoy a wide variety of activities, from relaxing and watching the television, to taking part in our Aerobics classes, sing-a-longs and entertainment shows by professional entertainers. We have a number of activities organised throughout the year and all residents are invited and encouraged to participate, for more information please see the "Events" link.

The quiet room

The quiet room has views over our garden and is the perfect place to reflect, entertain visitors and relax. Often used by visitors it has become a lovely little place to have some time alone.

The garden

We have a large landscaped garden that residents are encouraged to spend time in. We have two rockeries, paved areas, grassed areas and paths all around the garden. Brenda and our gardener work very hard to keep the garden looking beautiful so Residents spend as much time outside as possible. The health benefits of fresh air and a little sunshine are undeniable. We have specfically designed an area of the garden with scented plants so our residents who have limited sight can still appreciate the flowers. We will always encourage Residents to take up hobbies while they live with us, and avid gardeners can always find something to do out there!

The conservatory

If navigating outside proves too much, the conservatory allows our less able residents to enjoy the views of the garden without the hassle. The conservatory is a quiet place for residents to relax either alone, with other residents or with visitors and is rarely empty.
